Alicia received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Framingham State College in 2006 and her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in health/mental health from Boston College in 2010.

Alicia specializes in working with children, teachers and parents of children experiencing school related issues with a solution-focused approach. Her areas of focus include, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, self-esteem, stress management, mood disorders, trauma and parenting support.

Alicia incorporates therapeutic modalities such as psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy and social skills training with her clients.
​
Alicia has worked as a school adjustment counselor/social worker for over 13 years. Prior to her work in schools, she has provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings. These settings include: Intensive in-home family therapy for at-risk children and families, residential treatment programs and hospitals.
